Cilantro (or parsley) Garlic Sauce



I made this sauce and served it with Jasmine rice, chicken and peas last night. It was intense — rich lemon and garlic flavors and just enough cilantro to taste. Rave reviews by everyone! If cilantro is not your thing you could easily substitute parsley.

Ingredients:

1 medium garlic, cloves peeled

1/2 tsp. Sea salt

1/2 cup cilantro (fresh)

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Juice of one lemon

1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

In a mini-prep food processor (an absolute must have) blend all ingredients until well blended. Pour into a pitcher and serve with grilled chicken, steak or shrimp!
